Great to work with. Quick responses, competitive bid. Work started on time, but there was damage to one of the trees due to thrown shingles. Steve responded quickly and replaced the damaged tree without hesitation, and also touched up some of the paint on the gutters. We also placed shakers on the front gable. Even with some damage, which can happen, Steve and SL were quick to make it right. We would recommend SL without hesitation.

Did a great job on installing the new roof and gutters. Due to weakened/rotting boards under the original shingles, there ended up being damage to an interior ceiling during the work. I found out about SL when I needed a walk in shower for my aging mother. They were able to fit shower remodel into their schedule in a week when other companies were pushing me out 6-8 month. The work was completed in a day and a half and exceeded my expectations. This spring I recommended them to my neighbor who needed cedar siding repair. Neighbor was extremely happy with their work. I just had them cut hearty plank up 4” wherever it touched my roof line as planking was deteriorating. They allowed me to prime and paint cedar prior to installation. They supplied a three man crew to add cedar trim where necessary, repair and replace deteriorating planking and replace some rotted cedar, hearty plank siding and softest on house dormers and chimney. Work was completed again exceeding my satisfaction in a day in a half. Then they provided a 10 person crew to remove my roof shingle’s and replace entire roof and all necessary items that included. They worked from sunrise to sunset day  one and sunrise to close to sunset the next day to complete job. Again work exceeded my expectations. Site was cleaned throughout work and thoroughly cleaned when work was completed. I would definitely hire them again when I need work done.

I needed to have my hail damaged roof replaced, and due to winter weather approaching, I needed it to be replaced quickly!  After several calls to my insurance company to please expedite my claim, it was approved!  SL Construction scheduled the roof to be replaced the day after Thanksgiving, however the weather forecast was iffy.  SL called and offered to do the work on Thanksgiving day itself.  I was delighted!  They came Thanksgiving morning at 8:00 am, and were finished and gone by 5:00 pm.  The crew was hard working and professional.  Everything was clean and orderly when they left!  I would be more than happy to recommend SL Construction for anyone needing a professional organization that cares!!!

SL Construction did a replacement roof estimate on our tri-level and offered a competitive rate lower than some other companies we also had estimates from. The job took approximately 1.5 days. During the first day some food trash was left in the yard but was cleaned up by the time they left that evening, and some trash items were left on the roof overnight between job days. However, everything was cleaned up and left nice and tidy by the time they were done.

We appreciated Steve for his timeliness in scheduling us and advising to get us in before shingle prices went up. We were notified of any decking replacement needs or hiccups during the replacement process. Overall, I would recommend SL Construction as a great value without sacrificing roof quality.
